Western Isles Metal Products ltd (W.I.M.P) for short is a new company that was started at the end of October 2006 on the Isle of Harris In the north west of Scotland by three Individuals who needed a change of pace and life styles and a change of job.
The Idea was to set up a business making Decorative and Practical Metal Craft Items such as Candleholders, Brackets, Tree guards, things for the Home and things for the Garden infact anything that can be made out of steel. We also make Custom designs as close as possible to the customer’s own specification.

Most of the Steel has to be imported from the mainland by Courier, or local Haulage firm and of course the Caledonian Mcbrain Ferry Company.

Most of our products are hand crafted, a lot of them are a one off and unique.
